Audience Booking

The Scratch is a free event and will work on a Pay What You Can basis as to not have money be a barrier to coming and supporting your peers. Please do make sure that if you book a ticket that you are able to attend the event so that we can avoid empty seats.

By booking a ticket to The Scratch you are enabling the next generation of artists to thrive. The Scratch has been a great stepping stone for so many artists and we need your support. The event is currently run on donations. If you are able to help cover the cost of running these events, please consider doing so with your ticket booking! - Recommended donation £5

How to apply!

If you are considering performing/submitting a piece for The Scratch, click the button below linking to the Google Form where you can fill out your application.

As a reminder of our Key Requirements, your piece has to fall under the following:

  • The piece/idea/script being submitted must be unpublished work.

  • It must be under 10 minutes running time.

  • If you do have supporting documents, only submit up to 10 pages of content.

  • You/Your group must have intention to develop your work further after The Scratch.

If you are a writer or just need help with casting, we are able to support with this as we do not want that to be a reason not to apply. However, we do ask that if you are able to cast the pieces and prepare them yourselves, that would help in your application. Any casting assistance from us would happen after you are accepted onto The Scratch.
